Dr. Andrea Shaw is one half of the team that has made Shaw Chiropractic one of Jacksonville’s most trusted chiropractic practices. A licensed Chiropractic Physician, Dr. Andrea has spent the past two decades in chiropractic practice, caring for patients in her hometown of Jacksonville, Florida. After graduating from the University of Georgia, she created corporate wellness programs at Johnson & Johnson and AT&T, then enrolled at National College of Chiropractic in Chicago. Dr. Shaw’s passion for getting people out of crisis and helping them discover a healthy lifestyle, has inspired her lifelong dedication to patient wellness.
Dr. Shaw has continued her academic pursuits into health and wellness with an emphasis on weight loss and functional medicine, thoroughly studying the relationship between the nervous system and body function. Whether treating patients after a car accident or an athlete trying to maximize performance, she always provides thoughtful care plans tailored to the goals of the individual.
This patient-focused approach has helped Dr. Shaw build a successful practice treating headaches, sinus congestion, whiplash, sciatica, asthma problems and a wide variety of other chronic conditions that respond to chiropractic care. After becoming a mother of three, she expanded her practice into pediatrics, treating children and adolescents suffering from conditions including scoliosis, colic and ear infections.
Like Dr. Chad, Dr. Andrea is a VA Community Care provider and is committed to serving Jacksonville’s large military and veteran community.
Dr. Andrea brings a warm, holistic approach to patient care that puts even the most apprehensive first-time chiropractic patients at ease. Her focus is on understanding the full picture of a patient’s health — not just the symptom that brought them in the door — and developing a treatment strategy that addresses the root cause of their discomfort.
She and Dr. Chad have built their practice on the belief that everyone deserves access to high-quality chiropractic care, and that a good doctor-patient relationship starts with respect and trust.
