MEET THE SHAW FAMILY
CHAD SHAW, DC
A board certified chiropractic physician who has been in practice helping patients since 1999 safely delivering more than 600,000 chiropractic adjustments during that time. Born in Beatrice, Nebraska, Dr. Shaw did undergraduate studies at The University of Nebraska – Lincoln. He obtained a B.S. in Human Biology and earned his doctor of Chiropractic degree at the National University of Health Sciences. After practicing in Chicago in 1999 and 2000, he moved to Jacksonville to get married and continue his career. In 2007, Shaw Chiropractic opened and started caring for patients at the current location near JTB and Southside.
ANDREA SHAW, DC
A board certified chiropractic physician who has been helping patients since 2000. Born in Jacksonville , Fl. She is graduate of The University of Georgia with Honors. She obtained a B.S in Health Promotion and Behavior and a B. S in Biology. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from The National University of Health Sciences just outside of Chicago.
Drs. Chad and Andrea Shaw have done post-graduate education in neurology, bio-chemistry, nutrition, functional medicine, chiropractic technique, sports medicine, extremity adjusting,pediatrics, ADD/ADHD, detoxification and spinal rehabilitation. Shaw Chiropractic examines how stress affects the body in its three forms: physical, emotional and bio-chemical. Dr. Andrea Shaw has a passion for teaching about healthy living through nutrition. If you are serious about wanting to lose weight, Dr. Andrea can guide you into a new lifestyle. If you are not getting the proper nutrition, your body can’t function optimally. Many of today’s diseases are caused by what we are eating. Entire families will benefit from our wellness visits. Our ADD/ADHD assessments are changing the way kids are growing up!
Dr. Chad and Andrea Shaw are active in the local and national chiropractic societies. They have 3 children, Chloe, Stella and Harrison that keep them busy, especially on the soccer fields. Dr. Chad Shaw is a member of the Southpoint Rotary Club.
